Current Beauty Favourites !

Hellooo internet!

I've been so busy recently and I've had no time at all to sit down and blog!
Last month I went to Paris, which was AMAZING! Spent five days admiring the beautiful architecture and soaking up the sun! My favourite spot in Paris has to be Montmartre by the Sacre Coeur, the view from up top were so stunning and the restaurants...*drool*.

Anyway! My current beauty favourites... (Which are mostly hauled items from Paris ) are *drumroll*...

The bioderma créaline H2O.
This micellar water is like no other, it dissolves dirt and makeup off your face like a dream and leaves your skin happy and hydrated ! I've had lots of issue with severely dry, dehydrated and flaky skin for the past year and this has helped so much! Well worth the hype. I bought two big bottles of this in Paris at a French pharmacie. I wish pharmacies in England were the same:( it is like a heaven for all you skincare junkies out there!!

The little product in the bottom left corner is a hair saviour! It's from a company called Yves Roche and honestly it's helped so much with my dry and damaged ends from bleaching. I also picked up the shampoo and conditioner from the same line! They were all on offer for half price! (I think)

The hair oil is from L'Occitane and contains argan oil which really helps to strengthen and replenish the hair. It also leaves your hair beautifully shiny and soft.

Lastly another product I discovered is the Caudalie divine oil which is ah-amazing, it has done wonders for my sore and flaky Hayfever nose and this happened overnight! You can also use this argan infused oil on your hair and body too ! Love this ❤️❤️❤️

Products that I'm loving

Hello world!

Apologies for the very long gap between posts! I've been a busy bee with work and life...

I have some lovely products I'd like to share with you all :D

Firstly, the "Urban Veda brightening face wash" is absolutely gorgeous in terms of texture, smell and it leaves you're skin so soft! I recieved it in my March birchbox and have been loving it. It has Tumeric, marigold, papaya and coriander which have enzymes that revitalise, cleanse and brighten your skin. I did notice a difference to my skin in terms of brightness as I have hyper pigmentation. Love this product!

Next is the "Bobbi Brown hydrating eye cream" which has done wonders for my under-eyes. It's so hydrating and helps with darkness due to dehydration. Definitely repurchasing ! I think it was around £30 from John Lewis!

A new product that I have instantly fallen for is the "Liz Earle - Cleanse and polish" which I recieved in my May birchbox. It comes with a little muslin cloth which gently exfoliates your skin when removing the product. It's brilliant for removing any remaining dirt, makeup (the sometimes stubborn reminants of mascara that refuse to budge) I have noticed my skin has been much happier since using this and It is definitely going on my wish list!

An all time favourite of mine is the lush "Vanilla Dee-Lite". James from the Lush store in Cambridge kindly explained to me that the kiwi in the body lotion contains an enzyme which helps break down dead skin cells, leaving your skin smooth, beautiful and smelling absolutely edible (don't eat it, it doesn't taste as good as it smells). LOVE LOVE LOVE. So if you're skin is having a down day, go grab this (even if it isn't, grab it anyway it's amazing).

Let me know which products you've been loving!

Over and out.

Haul!

Hello lovelies!

So recently I had been looking for a good creamy bronzer that I could use for contouring. A friend of mine who is also the manager of a Chanel counter recommended the "Soleil tan de Chanel" which is a creamy bronzing makeup base.
It has such a beautiful texture and is very soft. The formulation is very blendable and buildable. A little goes a long way with this bronzer.

In this container you receive 30g for £31 which is a lot of product! The packaging is very sleek and has the classic chanel logo. In this photo I had already used the bronzer a few times and it looks like I've barely touched it. I think this will last me a very long time.

I absolutely love how this bronzer gives you a natural and radiant glow. It just makes you look so healthy. It is the perfect product for contouring, and can be used over foundation or under a foundation for a subtle summery glow.

10/10 LOVE.

Here is a picture of some of the other things I bought recently..

The bag is a really cute makeup bag with separate compartments inside, it will help prevent your makeup from getting messy! £4 from primark - bargain!

I also bought the pencil crayon eyeliner from chanel in the colour "grenat" which is a deep rusty, purple with a hint of red.
The formulation of this eyeliner is very creamy and easy to apply with a good colour payoff. It's also waterproof which is handy as I get watery eyes, and it lasts all day!
I am so thrilled about finding this product because chanel recently discontinued it. I was talking to a lovely chanel lady in John Lewis and she had a look and found one !

I bought the sleek blush in "rose gold" I had been eyeing this product up for a whole and it looks especially beautiful on medium/tan/deep complexions...as does anything that's rose gold really.

Finally, I got my hands on a lovely Chanel lipstick from their new lipstick range that was launched on valentines day. It is number 145 and is a deep purpley pink. It is from the "rouge allure" line, these lipsticks are great as they last all day and aren't drying in any way. The packaging is gorgeous and sleek.

Love love love these purchases!
Let me know if you've made any fabulous buys recently! I'd love to know!

Until next time...

Wedding Shopping!

Hello lovelies

One of my best friends got engaged !
Today we went to look at some wedding dresses for her.

We started off in a lovely boutique called "Taylor's Cat" on Sussex street in Central Cambridge.

The lovely assistant made us comfortable in the nice dressing room and then showed us some beautiful gowns. There were some stunning vintage style dresses and some jaw dropping gowns with lace and sweetheart necklines.
We found an absolutely beautiful dress! (I can't give too much away)

Of course, dress shopping is hungry work so we took a trip to "Bill's" a gorgeous little restaurant in Cambridge.
YUM.

Afterwards, we indulged in some Frozen yoghurt. Just off of Sidney street in Cambridge, there is a lovely Froyo store called "Chill". They have flavours which they change each week and many toppings you can add to personalise your yoghurt! They always let you try before you buy which I personally think is very good! I had a taste of the green tea flavour but I am always a sucker for anything mango. It was delicious! The man in the store was so friendly and welcoming, which is always a bonus! 10/10 for Chill Cambridge !

Had a wonderful day with two wonderful people!

Kiehls samples and review!

Hello lovelies!

Soo I wandered into the Kiehls store in Cambridge and the lovely consultant spoke to me about the different products. Amongst the huge variety of skincare goodies, a couple of products caught my eye.

1. Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream
-a facial cream for normal - dry skin with ingredients that help retain the water in the skin.
2. Kiehls Ultra Facial Toner
-a very hydrating toner for all skin types. It contains Apricot Kernel Oil which is extracted from apricot kernels and has a very high Vitamin E content which aids fast absorption into the skin.
It also contains Avocado oil, which is a natural source if amino acids and is the most moisturising of the fruit oils.
3. Kiehls Creme De Corps
- with Beta Carotene, Sesame Oil and Cocoa Butter.

I am in love with the Ultra Facial Toner. It is an incredibly hydrating, gentle and softening toner which doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or uncomfortable. One thing I really love about this product is that it is formulated without the use of alcohols and won't strip your skin In any way.

I absolutely loved all these products and will be going in to pick all three of these lovely things up next time I'm in the Kiehls store!

I must confess, I am a total CHANEL addict. I will be writing a post all about my chanel collection addiction so keep an eye out for that!

I can't wait to start this adventure with you !
